Szetalo LS Tablet side effects
Common
Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Confusion, Memory impairement, Uncoordinated body movements, Drowsiness, Tiredness, Delayed ejaculation, Anorgasmia (decreased orgasm), Low sexual desire.
How to use Szetalo LS Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Szetalo LS Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Szetalo LS Tablet works
Szetalo LS Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Clonazepam and escitalopram which have anxiety-lowering and mood-enhancing effects. Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine (BZD) which increases the action of GABA, a chemical messenger that suppresses the abnormal activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Escitalopram is selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) which increases the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger that improves mood.

Alcohol
CAUTION
Szetalo LS Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Pregnancy
WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Szetalo LS Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy. There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
CAUTION
Szetalo LS Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Driving
Szetalo LS Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Kidney
Szetalo LS Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Szetalo LS Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. Use of Szetalo LS Tablet can cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Liver
CAUTION
Szetalo LS Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Szetalo LS Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
