Linospan 600mg Tablet is used in the treatment of serious bacterial infections. It is used for the treatment of bacterial infections of lungs (Pneumonia), and some infections in or under the skin.

How to use Linospan Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Linospan 600mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Avoid Linospan 600mg Tablet with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.

Linospan 600mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It stops the bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Lactation
CAUTION
Linospan 600mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Driving
Linospan 600mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Kidney
SAFE
Linospan 600mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Linospan 600mg Tablet is recommended. However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Liver
Linospan 600mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Linospan 600mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Limited information is available on the use of Linospan 600mg Tablet in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.
