Ixempra Injection side effects
Common
Nausea, Vomiting, Fatigue, Fever, Muscle pain, Musculoskeletal (bone, muscle or joint) pain, Mucosal inflammation, Decreased white blood cell count, Anemia (low number of red blood cells), Joint pain, Hair loss, Low blood platelets, Peripheral sensory neuropathy, Nail disorder, Constipation, Loss of appetite, Diarrhoea, Decreased white blood cell count (neutrophils).

Ixempra 45mg Injection is an anti-cancer medication. It works by damaging the genetic material (DNA) of the cancer cells and stops their growth and multiplication.

Expert advice for Ixempra Injection
- Seek medical advice if you notice symptoms of neuropathy, such as burning sensation, hyperesthesia, hypoesthesia, paresthesia, discomfort, or neuropathic pain.
- Avoid contact with people with colds or other infections as ixabepilone treatment may lower your immunity.
- Do not consume alcohol during ixabepilone treatment as it may worsen the side effects.
- Do not consume this drug if you are allergic to ixabepilone or any of its ingredients.
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.

Lactation
UNSAFE
Ixempra 45mg Injection is unsafe to use during lactation. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby, or the mother is suffering from a condition in which breastfeeding is not advisable.

Driving
It is not known whether Ixempra 45mg Injection alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Kidney
There is limited information available on the use of Ixempra 45mg Injection in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.

Liver
CAUTION
Ixempra 45mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Ixempra 45mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Ixempra 45mg Injection is not recommended in patients with the severe liver disease.
