Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Glivec 100mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

Lactation
Glivec 100mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby. After taking Glivec 100mg Tablet avoid breastfeeding for 8 to 9 hours to reduce the exposure to the baby.

Driving
Glivec 100mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.

Kidney
CAUTION
Glivec 100mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Glivec 100mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver
Glivec 100mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Glivec 100mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
What if you miss a dose of Glivec Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Glivec 100mg Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
