Emend 150 mg Injection is an antiemetic medication. It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (neurokinin) in the brain that may cause nausea and vomiting during anti-cancer treatment (chemotherapy).

Driving
Emend 150 mg Injection may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.

Kidney
SAFE
Emend 150 mg Injection is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Emend 150 mg Injection is recommended.

Liver
Emend 150 mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Emend 150 mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with moderate to severe liver disease.
What if you miss a dose of Emend Injection?
If you miss a dose of Emend 150 mg Injection, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
