How to use Desifer Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Desifer 400mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
How Desifer Tablet works
Desifer 400mg Tablet traps and removes excess iron which is then excreted mainly in the stools. This reduces the risk of organ damage.

Desifer 400mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with kidney disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.

Liver
CAUTION
Desifer 400mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Desifer 400mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Limited information is available on the use of Desifer 400mg Tablet in these patients.
What if you miss a dose of Desifer Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Desifer 400mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
