How to use Bosentas Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Bosentas 62.5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Bosentas Tablet works
Bosentas 62.5mg Tablet is an endothelin receptor antagonist. It works by suppressing the action of endothelin, a natural substance that tightens the blood vessels and prevents normal blood flow in patients who have pulmonary hypertension.

Pregnancy
CAUTION
Bosentas 62.5mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation
CAUTION
Bosentas 62.5mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.

Driving
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. As Bosentas 62.5mg Tablet can induce hypotension (decrease of your blood pressure) which can make you feel dizzy and this can affect your ability to drive.

Kidney
SAFE
Bosentas 62.5mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Bosentas 62.5mg Tablet is recommended.

Liver
CAUTION
Bosentas 62.5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Bosentas 62.5mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Bosentas 62.5mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with moderate and severe liver disease.
What if you miss a dose of Bosentas Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Bosentas 62.5mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
