How Biorubin Injection works

Biorubin 10mg Injection is an anti-cancer medication. It works by damaging the genetic material (DNA) of the cancer cells and stops their growth and multiplication.

Expert advice for Biorubin Injection

  • Use appropriate contraception during treatment with epirubicin, if you are women of childbearing potential.
  • Male patients should not to father a child during and for 6 months after stopping epirubicin treatment.
  • Inform you doctor if you have or had suffered problems with your heart, liver or if you have severe infection such as urinary infection.
  • Do not drink fluids for 12 hours before the treatment if epirubicin is to be used in the bladder.
  • Tell your doctor if you are or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.

Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Biorubin 10mg Injection may cause episodes of nausea and vomiting, which can temporarily lead to an impairment of the ability to drive.

Biorubin 10mg Injection is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Biorubin 10mg Injection may not be needed in these patients.
